Two Witnesses

Listen now Read now

A witness is someone who can testify to the fact that something really happened or is actually true. The book of revelation describes two witness who were persecuted for their testimony. The Teachings of the New Church explain that these witnesses represent the two essential parts of what the New Church stands for, namely, that the Lord alone is God of heaven and earth, whose humanity is Divine, and that people ought to live in accordance with the Ten Commandments. These two truths, when lived, are what bear witness or testify that someone is part of the Lord’s New Church.

Confirming Your Faith
