Going By The Book

Spiritual life is incredibly simple. It can be perfectly summed up in the two great commandments: Love God above all else, love your neighbour as yourself. So why then do we need the rest of the Word? On top of that, why does the New Church offer thirty some volumes of deep theology!? It can be daunting. But if we understand that all spiritual study is for the sake of life, it can change our relationship to the ideas contained in these books and enrich our spiritual life beautifully.
